Student Artwork

Jasper Whalen - 7th Time Published

Jasper, senior, was once again successful with another one of her digital drawings ‘Coffee Break’ being accepted into the Fall 2018 Celebrating Art National Contest. Although I do not teach digital art, I encourage my students to use their talents to explore different mediums and subjects outside of my classes. A teachers goal is to have all their students become independent and apply their knowledge to future endeavors. Congrats!

Elizabeth is one of the most published students I teach. This watercolor will be published in the Fall 2018 Celebrating Art National Contest book in the 7th - 9th grade division. Elizabeths dedication to her artwork is what resulted in her second award as she has become such an accomplished artist.

12 Students Accepted for Publication

Celebrating Art Fall 2018 National Contest just announced who will be published in their next book. Only the top 25% of all the entries in the nation, in each age group, are accepted for publication.  I am so proud and thrilled for my students because they all work so hard. I will be posting each student separately with the winning artwork in the following days.
