Cailyn made this colored pencil landscape from all triangles. This exercise is done to teach students the relationship of one object to the other and the power of observation. They use all triangles so there are no distractions from the lesson. The student learns the term horizon line for the first time and then must identify where to place the mountain on the horizon line without a ruler. They must decide which mountain, tree and log is overlapping the other, and where the figures are on the page compared to the other objects in the picture. Cailyn was also introduced to drawing clouds for her first time.
